CNC Lathe Programmer to join a machining company based in Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming machines from drawings, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality components for a range of industries. Main Duties:
Program, set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc /Siemens /Mazatrol - depending on machines used)
Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions
Work with a variety of metals and materials
Carry out first-off inspections and use measuring equipment to check first offs and periodic monitoring
Adjust tooling, offsets and machine settings to optimise production efficiency
Responsible for proper operation of machines and tool / jig fixing
Work as part of a team to support a busy production area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Setter/Operator
Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol desirable)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical drawings and programming from drawings
Current or recent experience as lathe programmer, CNC programmer, programmer turner, CNC Machinist

Competitive hourly rate up to £16.50 p/h (depending on experience)
Day shift and early finish Friday - no weekends / there is another shift available working 4 x 10 hours Mon - Thurs (4 day weekend every week)
