PAXMAN ACADEMY PA TO HEADTEACHER Pay Range: Local Government Scale 9 Actual Salary from: £35,633 - £39,398 (Points 29-33) Start Date: September 2025 The Role Are you highly organised, discreet and able to work in a fast-paced educational environment? We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher in delivering the strategic vision and daily operations of our vibrant and high-achieving school. This post is 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus non-pupil days and 3 weeks during school closure periods). Some of your key responsibilities will include: To provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher Manage the Headteacher’s diary, schedule appointments and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders Handle confidential correspondence with professionalism and integrity Prepare reports, agendas and minutes for meetings and draft a range of correspondence Act as a first point of contact for the Headteacher, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors Undertake a range of duties as the HR link, liaising directly with the People & Culture and Payroll teams (The full details can be found in the attached Job Outline and Person Specification).
