Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and close-knit independent primary school in Ealing that is seeking a nurturing and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join them from the start of the summer term on a long-term, full-time basis - with potential to go permanent.

The Role
You will take full responsibility for the Reception class, delivering a creative, play-based EYFS curriculum while ensuring children make strong progress both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities include:
6. Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Framework
7. Creating a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment
8. Supporting children's early phonics, communication and personal development
9. Working closely with teaching assistants and parents
10. Tracking progress and adapting provision to meet individual needs
The school is looking for a teacher who can balance warmth and care with clear structure and high expectations.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
11. Hold UK QTS
12. Have strong EYFS experience, ideally within Reception
13. Be confident in delivering phonics and early maths
14. Demonstrate a nurturing, patient and positive approach
15. Be committed to building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
16. Be seeking a long-term, stable opportunity within a supportive school
This role would suit either an experienced EYFS teacher or a confident early-career teacher with strong Reception experience who is looking to develop within a smaller independent setting.
