We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our supportive and dedicated team at April Court
April Court is a residential home that provides care and support for adults with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our dedicated, friendly, innovative, and welcoming team.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will support our residents to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach, working to ensure the service and activities are varied and meet residents' needs.
What you'll do
* Provide care and support that promotes client choice and independence.
* Coordinate and lead the support staff and support with personal care as required
* Ensure that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
* Support residents to take their prescribed medication
* Work within the Gold Standards Framework to ensure quality care
What you need
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 Certificate or be prepared to work towards a qualification.
* Knowledge and awareness of Community Care and Safeguarding legislation
* Strong communication skills
* Good knowledge of CQC standards
* Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records
* An understanding of health and safety requirements
* A full current UK driving licence with the use of a car and be willing to drive the home's vehicles.
Part-time – 14 hours per week
