We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in turning approved shutter design concepts into fully manufacturable, market-ready products.
Specifically, you will oversee critical project handovers, ensuring every technical document is accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help drive projects forward and resolve technical challenges to ensure flawless execution from design to production.
Alongside this, you will take the lead in enhancing product performance and cost efficiency, identifying smarter ways to improve manufacturability and streamline processes without compromising security or aesthetics.
Additionally, you will:
- Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and supporting production documentation
- Refine component designs for improved efficiency and installation
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to support smooth project delivery
- Maintain compliance with all relevant security and certification standards
About You
To be considered as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will need:
- At least two years’ experience in mechanical or product engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential, and ideally, AutoCAD as well
- Strong experience using Microsoft Excel and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A willingness to learn about security specifications and manufacturing constraints
