About the Role
We are seeking a Research Software Engineer to work in the area of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to design, prototype and evaluate novel approaches for the analysis of REF Impact Case Studies and to engineer simple user interfaces that expose the models to non‑technical users.
Flexible Working
* We will consider applications for employment on a part‑time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full‑time.
About You
You will have a strong background in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, ideally at PhD level, with the ability to develop and deliver high‑quality research and simple user interfaces, with the potential to publish high‑quality work in the relevant research area.
