Our client is seeking an experienced Java Lead to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to mentor global teams, ensure best practices, and collaborate with client architects and third-party vendors for successful solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Leadership: Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot, drive design reviews, and optimize performance.
* Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor distributed teams across geographies, fostering Agile practices and knowledge sharing.
* Client & Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with client architects to align solutions with business goals and coordinate with vendors for integrations.
* Delivery Excellence: Ensure timely, high-quality delivery while managing risks and dependencies proactively.
Your Profile
* 12+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Exposure to insurance/banking domains
* Experience with large-scale migrations and modernization projects
* Proven ability to work in a global delivery model (minimum 6 hours overlap with offshore teams)
