Job Summary
Ericsson Consulting seeks a seasoned Techno-Operational Consulting Leader to head the NW & BOS Transformation practice and join the Global Consulting Leadership Team. The role drives engagements that deliver value to customers and to Ericsson.
Responsibilities
* Drive global P&L and define objectives for the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain.
* Identify, develop and manage a portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation consulting offerings.
* Generate consulting opportunities with Sales and Solution Architects and nurture them into successful proposals.
* Guide and lead the delivery of consulting projects and programs worldwide.
* Present as a thought leader at CxO level.
* Lead the NW & BOS Transformation consulting team of senior professionals.
* Manage stakeholders across consulting communities in different geographies.
* Contribute beyond your domain to achieve overall business objectives.
Qualifications
* 15+ years of professional experience with a proven record in selling and delivering consulting projects.
* Experience leading consulting practices or teams with P&L accountability.
* Strong technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, and B/OSS Transformation domains.
* People and team leadership with a track record of growth and development.
* Excellent communication skills and an ability to work in international, cross‑cultural environments.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and, ideally, a Master’s in Business.
* Certifications in TOGAF, ITIL and standard architectures such as TMF/TAM/SID/ODA are a plus.
Domain Expertise
* Autonomous Networks, Orchestration & Automation transformation
o Deep understanding of end‑to‑end autonomous network methodologies and orchestration & automation transformation approaches.
o Experience delivering transformation programs including organizational, process, systems integration and operational change.
* 5G Core and 5G Network
o Knowledge of 5G Core evolution, deployment options (SA) and RAN/Transport technology evolution.
o Insight into business implications of 5G technologies and monetization pathways.
* Telco Cloud Transformation – Virtualization and Cloud Native
o Experience with Telco Cloud Transformation programs, operating models and CICD/DevOps practices.
o Understanding of operational implications for moving 5G Core and other elements to virtualized or cloud‑native environments.
* Operational Transformation and Operating Models for 5G Evolution
o Capability to design operational transformation approaches and operating model components such as processes, metrics, OSS systems knowledge (inventory, assurance, activation).
* Agile Methodologies and DevOps WoW
* OSS Systems / Support Strategies
o Knowledge of orchestration solutions, automation techniques, closed loop automation, microservices, analytics, and open‑source communities (OpenStack, OPNFV, ONAP).
* Telco Cloud Technology Support
o Awareness of telco cloud trends (containers, microservices, MEC, public cloud solutions).
o Blueprint reference architectures for telco cloud services.
Location & Travel
Global role; based in India (Gurgaon). Expect approximately 50% travel internationally.
