Job Description

The firm is investing in real estate to support expansion, business synergy, workplace uplift, 5 days a week work in the office, and new businesses, translating into an unprecedented book of work across the region. The Global Real Estate Project Management team is responsible for the successful delivery of UK projects. We lead with passion and commitment to get things done, implementing best practices, business mindset, and market acumen while thoughtfully managing risk and control. Candidates must have excellent programming skills and a good working technical and engineering knowledge related to building construction, codes, and regulations.

As Deputy Design and Construction Project Management Head and Senior Project Manager for the UK sub-region in the Global Real Estate department, you will manage the delivery of workspaces focused on wellness, sustainability, flexibility, culture, and hospitality, in collaboration with key partners. You will also develop, nurture, and manage teams, acting as Deputy to the Regional D&C Head for project support and regional initiatives, ensuring consistency and best practices across EMEA. Your responsibilities include managing the entire lifecycle of construction projects—from due diligence, programming, design, procurement, construction, reporting, quality control, to cost management—to meet project objectives regarding budget, schedule, quality, and business needs.

Job responsibilities:

* Create a strategy for execution that incorporates market nuances, best practices, resourcing, and procurement to optimize timing, cost, and business objectives.
* Lead technical due diligence efforts in collaboration with transaction teams, engineering, and other stakeholders to align with project and business goals.
* Manage engagement of consultants and delivery suppliers, including GCs, furniture, and specialized trades, in partnership with procurement and internal experts.
* Support the preparation of bid documents, scope, and technical and commercial reviews, and implement efficient procurement programs.
* Manage planning and design processes closely with regional and sub-regional leaders and external stakeholders to meet milestones and business intents.
* Oversee contractors and suppliers, manage risks, and ensure site safety programs are effectively implemented.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, compliance, and standards.
* Collaborate to deliver workspaces emphasizing wellness, sustainability, flexibility, culture, and hospitality, aiming for certifications like LEED and Carbon Zero.
* Act as program integrator with CAO and Technology partners, managing technical and integration meetings.
* Ensure PM Web is the primary source for project data, reporting, and approvals, maintaining compliance with controls and processes.
* Prepare monthly reports, monitor budgets, manage design/construction changes, and ensure timely financial closure.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

* Degree in construction, project management, engineering, or related fields.
* Extensive experience managing all phases of corporate construction/fit-out projects, with multiple complex projects simultaneously.
* Experience as an internal project manager within a corporate real estate organization, with familiarity across EMEA markets.
* Direct experience in commercial architecture, interior renovation, workplace planning, project management, and compliance with building codes and safety standards.
* Proven fiscal accountability throughout the project lifecycle, including post-occupancy.
* Excellent client service skills and ability to ensure project profitability.
* Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
* Proficiency in programming and space planning.
