Location: Coleraine, Northern Ireland

Contract – Permanent

4 days per week

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Officer to join our team and help us fulfil our company goals and aspirations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for a large volume of weekly employees in a timely and accurate manner.

Role Responsibilities:

* Processing weekly payroll for 400 employees to include new start/ leaver procedures, SSP, SMP and pension auto enrolment.
* Dealing with all payroll queries in line with legislation and best practice and responding to stakeholders in a timely manner
* Producing payroll reports and payslips for employees
* Provide full administrative for wider payroll responsibilities
* Maintain and monitor Time & Attendance system
* Provide administrative support to the People Department when required

Skills and Experience Required:

* At least 2 years' experience processing payroll with strong work knowledge of Sage
* Strong knowledge of NI Payroll legislation
* Previous experience in an administration role and excellent accuracy & attention to detail
* Excellent IT skills to include all Microsoft packages but in particular Excel
* Excellent communication skills; ability to liaise with varying stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
* Ability to draft own correspondence and prioritise workload, work under pressure and use your own initiative

Desirable criteria:

* Previous experience with Astrow time & attendance system
