Job Description
· Deliver accurate monthly management accounts and maintain strong financial controls· Manage budgets and forecasts, supporting managers through planning cycles· Oversee VAT and Gift Aid reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance· Support year‑end audit and statutory accounts preparation· Review payroll, approve payments, and manage core finance systems· Act as a key finance contact for departmental managers and stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established finance team, with real scope to make an impact and contribute meaningfully to the work of the charity.
The Successful Applicant
My client is looking for someone with the following experience:
3. Qualified / Qualified by Experience
4. Experience of leading and managing a small finance team
5. Hands-on experience at Finance Manager level including the production of the management accounts, statutory accounts and audit liaison.
6. The ability to commit to the full contract
Previous experience of working for a charity is helpful but not essential.This role is based on-site 5 days per week - please only apply if you are able to commit to the commute near Maidstone.
