Position Overview:
As a Quantity Surveyor at Velta Construction, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and sustainability. While experience in civil engineering projects is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct measurement and valuations
* Prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
* Monitor and review the financial performance of contracts
* Provide project performance reports to senior management
* Communicate with clients regarding project performance
* Ensure timely customer payments within contract terms
* Procure subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts
* Price projects before contract agreement
Requirements:
1. Preferred: A degree in Quantity Surveying, but we also accept equivalent qualifications like HND or HNC.
2. Essential: Knowledge of NEC3/4 forms of contract
3. Interest in obtaining a relevant professional body membership, e.g., CICES or RICS
