The Role This is a varied and hands-on position for someone who is confident with both labouring duties and driving. You will start each day from home with the company's pick-up van, with your first 3-4 hours usually pre-planned by the Contracts Manager the night before which will be send to the tablet. Your day will consist of a mixture of: Planned material collections and drop-offs General skilled labouring tasks Supporting site teams Responding to last-minute or ad-hoc requirements across multiple projects Daily commutes will typically involve 300-500 miles per day, depending on site locations and workload. Key Responsibilities Collect, transport, and deliver materials between suppliers and sites Assist with strip outs, clearances, and general labouring activities Support trades and site teams as required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of sites and materials Follow daily schedules issued via tablet/smartphone Conduct basic checks and maintenance of the company vehicle Represent Beaumont & Partners in a polite, professional manner Work flexibly to meet last-minute and changing site requirements Requirements Valid CSCS Card Full clean UK driving licence Experience in general building, labouring, or property refurbishment Good knowledge of tools, materials, and building processes Comfortable driving a 3-tonne pick-up daily Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Good IT literacy - able to use a tablet/smartphone to follow schedules Based in or very near South Shields (NE33 1PZ)
