We are looking for a Operations Director to lead and scale our UK operations as we transform into a £100m+ revenue, high-volume, automated space manufacturing business .
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will oversee Facilities, IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, Health & Safety, and Security across multiple UK sites. Your leadership will ensure our operational backbone is ready to support the delivery of complex space programmes at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive operational excellence and scalable processes to support rapid growth.
Lead multi-site facilities, labs, cleanrooms, and test environments.
Oversee procurement, supply chain, and stores management.
Manage IT infrastructure, tools, and cybersecurity strategies.
Ensure HSE compliance and foster a culture of safety.
Build, lead, and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
Experience:
Proven senior leadership in operations for £50m+ high-tech, production-driven organisations.
Experience scaling complex manufacturing environments.
Strong expertise in IT systems, cybersecurity, and facilities management.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and budget management skills.
Willingness to travel regularly between UK sites and occasionally overseas.
