The LIMS Analyst
Purpose:
Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and optimisation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across pathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and document business requirements from laboratory and clinical stakeholders.
* Configure LIMS workflows, user roles, and system functionality.
* Support data migration, system integrations, testing, and validation activities.
* Deliver user training, go-live support, and ongoing system improvements.
* Work closely with pathology teams, digital services, and suppliers to ensure successful implementation.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience with LIMS or healthcare systems.
* Understanding of pathology laboratory workflows.
* Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with testing, data migration, or system integration is desirable.
* Knowledge of UKAS/ISO 15189 and NHS digital transformation programmes is advantageous.
