Warehouse Manager – Birmingham
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager based in Birmingham, West Midlands, on a full-time permanent basis. Shifts
• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Friday: 9:00am – 4:30pm
• 39 hours per week
Salary
• £40,000 – £44,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Day-to-Day Duties
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Birmingham warehouse site
• Plan and coordinate incoming goods, storage and dispatch to meet KPIs
• Manage stock control, space allocation, transfers and non-conforming product
• Ensure accurate cycle counts, stock takes and internal stock movements
• Work closely with Purchasing to maintain adequate stock levels
• Maintain strict control of operational documentation and reporting
• Drive a Right First Time culture across service, quality and accuracy
• Ensure quality procedures, inspections and supplier quality processes are followed
• Investigate and resolve quality concerns promptly and effectively
• Lead, train and develop the Operations team to enhance skills, flexibility and cover
• Promote collaboration through cross-functional improvement initiatives
• Implement and enforce Health & Safety policies and safe working practices
• Facilitate customer visits and on-site customer training where required
• Act as a key holder, opening and closing the site when necessary
Essential Skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience managing warehouse or logistics operations
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Confident managing KPIs, stock control and operational reporting
• Quality-focused with a strong customer service mindset
• Proactive, organised and able to lead from the front
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Purchasing and senior management
