Here at South Lincs, we are looking for a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our team to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months.
As a student nurse you will support the nursing and vet team with:
* Holding animals for examination and procedures
* Caring for animals in kennels including feeding, grooming and giving medications appropriate to training level
* Helping to take and process blood and other lab samples
* Assisting with preparing animals for surgery and monitoring anaesthetics, appropriate to training level
* Cleaning and sterilising instruments
* Cleaning clinical areas
* Spending some time on reception
About the rota
This is a full-time role working 43.73 hours per week to include 1:5 weekend days and 1:18 weekend nights.
