Job Description
The Production Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Adhering to all company and safety policies; promptly report any policy violations or hazardous conditions to a supervisor or the Safety Committee.
2. Promoting a culture of safety and encourage safe practices across the production floor.
3. Actively participating in safety initiatives and report job-related concerns to the Safety Committee.
4. Reviewing production schedules, work orders, and staffing plans to determine resource needs and production priorities.
5. Collaborating with department supervisors to monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments.
6. Modifying production schedules in response to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other disruptions, working closely with management, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
7. Requesting and managing inventory to ensure materials and supplies meet production requirements.
8. Distributing work orders and schedules to relevant departments.
9. Developing production plans and timelines based on sales forecasts and business unit goals.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have the following qualifications:
10. Associate's degree or equivalent experience required
11. 3-5 years of relevant experience in production management
12. Proficiency with MRP systems or similar software tools
13. Experience working hands-on in an Industrial Manufacturing setting
