Overview

South Staffordshire College is looking to appoint a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic full-time Health and Social Care Lecturer who can inspire students and ignite their passion for a career in health and social care. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful Health and Early Years Team. You will be working with a diverse student population and be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management techniques in a fast-paced environment, whilst teaching a range of topics.


Responsibilities

* Deliver teaching across a range of topics in health and social care, including Equality, Diversity and Rights, Communication, and Working in the Health and Social Care Sector.
* Maintain excellent classroom management in a fast-paced learning environment.
* Inspire and support students to achieve and progress in their health and social care studies.


Qualifications and Experience

* Extensive experience of working in the Health and Care industry.
* Qualified to degree level.
* Hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification with delivery experience.
* Driven to ensure excellent student progress.
* Applicants from a nursing or midwifery background are welcome; a current nursing qualification is desirable.
