Registered Manager - 4-Bed Children's Home (EBD)
Location: Bridgwater, TA6
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Potential earnings: Up to £54,000 through bonuses

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to open and lead our brand-new 4-bed children's home in Bridgwater (TA6), supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the leadership, development, and performance of the home. You'll ensure that it operates in line with Ofsted requirements and consistently delivers high-quality, child-centred care.
You'll play a key role in registering the home with Ofsted and developing a strong, trauma-informed team of 7-9 dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the registration process and ensure the home meets all Ofsted requirements.
Oversee daily operations and maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
Safeguard and promote the welfare and well-being of all children and young people.
Recruit, train, and support a skilled and motivated team of staff.
Develop strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.
Implement robust quality assurance, monitoring, and reporting systems.
Drive continuous improvement and strive for "Good" or "Outstanding" Ofsted ratings.
Contribute to the organisation's growth and reputation as a trusted provider of quality care.
About You
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a children's residential setting.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection frameworks.
Experience supporting young people with EBD, complex needs, and trauma backgrounds.
Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
