About the Role

Location United Kingdom Warwickshire Warwick Remote vs. Office Office/Site only Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your DayJoin our AGT product development team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of gas turbine technology. Your day will involve creating detailed analysis models using both bespoke and commercial FE software, solving complex engineering problems, and driving improvements in product understanding. You’ll work closely with colleagues to resolve technical challenges, support key product decisions, and share best practices to overcome analytical and program hurdles. As a trusted technical voice, you’ll regularly update project stakeholders and contribute to innovative solutions that support both performance and sustainability in the energy transition.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Execute system and sub-system stress, fatigue, lifting, and integrity analyses, and lead or participate in detailed audits of models, analyses, and reports.
2. Partner with design and manufacturing experts to enable high-quality component production and optimise engine life management.
3. Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing expertise to strengthen the mechanical integrity team’s capabilities.
4. Build on your engineering knowledge to deliver accurate, efficient, high-quality solutions for challenging technical problems.
5. Advise product management on technical risks for in-service issues and investigate root causes to support effective resolutions.
What You Bring
6. Experience with FE analysis software—preferably Abaqus and/or SC03.
7. Industry background in analytical skills such as fatigue, damage tolerance, and integrity assessments.
8. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to develop precise and clear technical reports.
9. Motivation to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary analytical team environment.
10. Interest in advancing gas turbine technology to remain impactful in the global energy transition.
