Based in Exeter, this is a hybrid role once training is complete.Joining us on a full-time basis, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £25,274 per annum.You will be required to assist the Environmental Permitting team with permit records, applications and other administrative tasks.
Duties:
1. Submit applications for new environmental permits and permit variations, for water discharge and waste activities
2. Check draft permit documents prior to final document issue, and collate comments from colleagues
3. Process permit surrenders
4. Complete the Environment Agency Pre-Application process when needed and process any payments for this
5. Organise and update information related to permits and permit changes
6. Monitor the team inbox
7. Process permit costs and other financial tasks
8. Provide support to SWW / Amplify teams in locating environmental permits and related information
9. Assist with bulk changes on permits database
10. Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual waste reports
11. Co-ordinate WAMITAB training for managers of waste permitted sites
12. Provide administrative support to the rest of the team as needed
What we are looking for:
13. GCSE's in English and Maths at grade C or above
14. Proficient in Microsoft packages
15. Good communication skills
