Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Have a minimum of 2 years chef experience.
* Be passionate about creating and serving delicious and nutritious meals to students, staff, and visitors.
* Encourage and promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles.
* Prepare various ingredients such as meats and vegetables.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
* Clean up and sanitise the kitchen area after cooking each meal and at the end of the shift.
* Work collaboratively with all members of the Gateway Central Services.
* Be enthusiastic about own professional development and growth.
Role Overview
Gateway Central Services is seeking to appoint a Lead Chef to join our passionate and enthusiastic in‑house catering team at Foundry Lane Primary School, producing high quality and healthy meals for breakfast, snack time, lunch and the occasional function.
