The Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our end-to-end supply chain, vendor relations, and operational performance across international markets. You will coordinate between partners in Japan, logistics providers in the UK and Europe, and global distribution channels to ensure a smooth, sustainable, and cost-efficient operation.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, purpose-driven environment and can balance strategy with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Supply Chain Strategy – Develop and implement cross-border supply chain strategies to scale operations, reduce cost, and enhance efficiency.
* International Vendor Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with partners in Japan, co-packers, manufacturers, and distributors globally, ensuring quality and reliability.
* Inventory & Demand Planning – Lead forecasting and stock optimisation to meet global demand while reducing waste.
* Logistics & Distribution – Oversee 3PL providers, warehousing, and transportation partners across international markets for timely, cost-effective delivery.
* Compliance & Quality – Ensure compliance with UK and international food safety regulations, sustainability and organic standards, and internal QA protocols.
* Performance & Reporting – Monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency.
* Sustainability Leadership – Drive global initiatives for waste reduction, ethical sourcing, and environmental responsibility throughout the supply chain.
About You
* Proven track record in global operations, supply chain, or logistics management (ideally in FMCG, food & beverage, or wellness industries).
* Strong knowledge of international vendor management, demand planning, and supply chain optimisation.
* Experience navigating UK/EU food safety regulations; familiarity with organic certification and sustainability standards a plus.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across cultures and time zones.
* Analytical, data-driven, and solutions-focused mindset.
* Passion for wellness, sustainability, or Japanese culture is a strong plus.
