Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
Who will you be supporting? You will be leading a team of support workers across 2 supported living services in Liverpool. More about the services? One service lives two individuals that have a range of support needs, including epilepsy, learning disabilities and both individuals are wheelchair users The other service live three individuals that have physical and learning disabilities What are we looking for?
15. Experience within Health & social care as a leader
16. Experienced working within Supported living and working across multiple services
17. Experienced with learning disabilities
18. Someone passionate and confident to lead and inspire a team of support workers
19. You must be able to travel between both services
With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
