As a librarian you will support the Library Manager in overseeing Poynton and Disley libraries, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery. About the Role
As a Librarian, you'll support the delivery of high-quality library services across our libraries. You'll lead on reader development, digital inclusion, and events, while also assisting with day-to-day operations and supporting staff and volunteers. You will deputise for the senior library assistant and library manager in their absence.

About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a recognised qualification in librarianship or information management (or equivalent experience).
* Has strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Is confident with digital technologies and library systems.
* Can work flexibly across different locations, including evenings and weekends.
* Is passionate about libraries and their role in the community.
The hours are per week worked on a two week timetable including alternate Saturday mornings. The hours are as follows, but may be subject to change.
Week one: Poynton - Wednesday 9.45am - 1pm and Thursday 10am - 5pm
Week two: Poynton - Thursday 10am - 5pm, Disley - Friday 1.45pm - 6pm and Saturday 9.15am - 1pm
