Job summary
This is a permanent Maintenance Person role at the Admiralty care home operated by Agincare Homes Holdings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Person at the Admiralty care home, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, decorating, grounds maintenance, and minor repairs. You will work closely with the care team to address any issues and ensure the care home is well-maintained and safe for all residents. This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.

A day in the life of a Maintenance Person
* You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements
* You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows.
* If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
* Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents.
* You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
