With a strong reputation and continued growth, they're looking for a proactive Recruitment Coordinator to join their busy friendly HR and Administration team. The Role As Recruitment Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the recruitment function, managing the entire end-to-end process for this fast-paced business. From creating exciting job adverts to ensuring seamless onboarding, you'll be the go-to person for all things recruitment. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you'll be on the phone daily, engaging with candidates, coordinating interviews, and keeping a tight grip on compliance and onboarding schedules. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be based on site 5 days a week and will work with Operations Managers across the business to understand the vacancy requirements, build great internal relationships and ensure all parties are informed and up to date with recruitment progress. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Recruitment: Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising vacancies, candidate selection, shortlisting, and interview scheduling Telephone Screening: Conduct initial telephone screening calls with applicants to assess suitability and provide a positive candidate experience New Starter Compliance & Onboarding: Manage a busy onboarding schedule, chasing references, updating compliance checks, and ensuring all new starters are ready to hit the ground running Collaboration with HR Manager: Work closely with the HR Manager on all compliance-related matters, ensuring recruitment practices meet legal and organisational standards Marketing Partnership: Liaise with the Marketing Manager to create high-quality, fit-for-purpose job adverts and effective recruitment campaigns that attract great candidates Brand Ambassador: Represent the business at jobs fairs, careers events, and local trade events across Cumbria, raising the company profile and promoting career opportunities within the industry Process Improvement: Keep track of multiple vacancies and candidates, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks and the recruitment process runs smoothly About You We're looking for a confident, organised professional who thrives in a busy environment and loves speaking to people. You'll be comfortable picking up the phone as well as liaising with applicants and new hires via email, juggling multiple priorities, and keeping everything on track. Essential: A confident communicator who's happy to pick up the phone and engage with candidates at all levels across various stages of the recruitment process Previous experience in high volume administration and familiarity with word and excel Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy onboarding schedule, chase references, and track compliance Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep on top of multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously A proactive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for people Comfortable representing the business at external events and engaging with the local community by attending job fairs and career days.
