Role: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Portsmouth (Nationwide travel required) Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE Employment Type: Permanent Robert Hurst are currently seeking an experienced Gas, Plumbing and Heating Mechanical Engineer to join our client's established building services team. You'll play a key role in installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of gas, plumbing, and heating systems, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain gas, plumbing, and heating systems and components. Work with drawings and specifications to determine layouts and materials. Install and maintain valves, pumps, booster sets, pressurisation systems, and pipework. Carry out maintenance and testing on gas-fired water heaters, heating fixtures, and associated equipment. Oversee and support junior team members, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Perform scheduled maintenance and ensure compliance with current regulations and codes of practice. Liaise with clients, suppliers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
