We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and supporting our staff.

You must be flexible and able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment. And refrigerator units
* Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by the owner including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
* Support cooking staff during service by ensuring all necessary items are readily available.
* Help with the organisation of storage areas, ensuring that all food items are stored correctly and safely.
* Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
* Maintain a tidy work area throughout the shift, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Assist with any additional tasks as required by the kitchen management team.

Qualifications
* Previous kitchen experience is essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous.
* Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is beneficial.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
