We require a Operations Improvement Coordinator to join us on a permanent basis in our Operations Contract Support Team, at our Upminster or Redditch site.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Develop, Build and Implement Training Programs – Design, build, implement and monitor comprehensive training programs for the OCS workload, focusing on quality control standards and procedures.
2. Schedule Training Sessions - Plan and organize regular individual and group training sessions to ensure continuous learning and development, remotely and in person.
3. Facilitate Learning and Skill Development - Implement effective learning strategies and provide support to colleagues, particularly in developing commercial awareness, soft skills and quality control techniques.
4. Collaborate Across Departments - Work closely with other departments to establish and promote best practices in quality control standards and training.
5. Identify Training Needs - Collaborate with managers and colleagues to identify individuals who would benefit from additional training, coaching, or mentoring to enhance their quality control capabilities.
6. Monitor Performance and Training Effectiveness - Track and audit performance to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
7. Communicate Training Needs and Resources - Clearly communicate identified training needs and provide access to online resources and training materials.
8. Assess and Review Learner Progress - Regularly review and assess the progress of learners to ensure they meet quality standards and learning objectives.
9. Identify Skill Gaps - Evaluate staff and department performance to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement in quality control processes.
10. Develop Training Strategies and Materials - Create and update training strategies, initiatives, and materials tailored to quality control roles.
11. Support Onboarding and Mentoring - Assist in the onboarding, probation, and mentoring processes to ensure comprehension and adherence to quality control standards.
What We're Looking For
12. Experience in training and developing colleagues
13. Experience in building and managing training documents
14. Experience in FM environment preferable, but not essential
Knowledge
15. Knowledge of performance measurement processes, SLAs and KPIs
16. 5 GCSE’S above grade C including English and Maths
Skills Competence
17. Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
18. Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms
19. Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement
20. Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
21. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
22. Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
23. The role holder will be able to travel between Arcus office locations as required
24. The post holder must be able to travel which may include overnight stays at short notice depending on project and business needs
25. As part of this role, after successful completion of probation, there will be a requirement to complete the apprenticeship for L&D Practitioner – Level 3.
