Account Manager, E-Commerce Strategy and Analytics
Leading Global Ecommerce Platform
London based (Hybrid working - 4 days office/1 day home)
$60,000 - $65,000
This role is for someone who lives and breathes ecommerce, who gets fired up by data, and who loves shaping the commercial success of well known consumer brands. If you want your next move to actually stretch you, this is the sort of opportunity that moves careers forward, not sideways.
You’ll be stepping into a high-growth environment where technology, insight, and strategy come together. The successful hire will manage a portfolio of consumer brands, build long-term commercial partnerships, and use advanced analytics tools to unlock growth across retail media, marketplaces, and digital channels.
The business has built some of the most sophisticated tools in the industry, and you’ll use them every day to translate complex data into strategic action, influence senior stakeholders, and guide your brands through every stage of the ecommerce lifecycle.
This isn’t a reactive account management job. It’s a strategic role for someone who wants to lead conversations, shape thinking, and have real ownership over outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
• Building deep, multi-level relationships across leading consumer brands, becoming their go-to partner for ecommerce strategy.
• Developing a true commercial understanding of each brand’s category, competitive landscape, and digital opportunities.
• Leading client calls, guiding priorities, managing workflows, and ensuring on-time delivery of key programmes.
• Using advanced analytics and proprietary tools to translate data into insight, recommendations, and performance-driving strategies.
• Delivering market, category, and competitor analysis to inform media, retail, and operational planning.
• Creating growth plans, media strategies, and performance frameworks aligned to client goals.
• Managing paid search, budget pacing, KPIs, and retail media campaigns across Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart and other RMNs.
• Developing and optimising retail search strategies that combine data, consumer behaviour, and top-of-search tactics.
• Producing reporting that distils trends, category events, and performance insights your clients rely on.
What we’re looking for
• At least four years’ experience in ecommerce account management.
• Strong analytical capability, especially in Excel, and confidence working with large data sets.
• Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to influence internally and externally.
• A highly organised operator who can juggle competing priorities and maintain quality.
• Proven experience turning insight into actionable ecommerce recommendations.
It would be ideal if you also bring
• Exposure to SQL or similar tools.
• Experience in startups, retail, digital advertising, or retail media environments.
• A second language.
• A mindset that’s curious, commercially driven, and biased towards solving problems.
Package
Salary circa £60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus, additional incentives, and a strong benefits package. The organisation is committed to pay transparency and ensuring people are supported to do the best work of their careers.
