Payroll Apprentice

Regional Recruitment are looking for a Payroll Apprentice to assist with the daily operations within our Payroll Department. As our Payroll Apprentice, you'll be more than just a number cruncher - You will be a trusted part of the team, that keeps our organisation running smoothly, playing a vital role in supporting our colleagues. This role offers excellent exposure to a wide range of Payroll functions, and provides a strong foundation for someone looking to build their career within the sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
Chasing and processing timesheets
Processing weekly payroll for Temporary staff
Setting up new starters on the payroll system
Preparing and sending sales invoices
Processing purchase orders
Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Credit control, including chasing outstanding payments
Paying suppliers and reconciling supplier statements
Assisting with bank reconciliations
Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (Essential)
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively (Essential)
Possess a strong attention to detail (Essential)
Possess good organisational skills (Essential)
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and develop (Essential)
Experience using Sage Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll (Desirable)
Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Desirable)
