You’ll need a full driving license and have access to your own vehicle for this Live-in Carer role, as our clients live in the community. About the Role This is a daytime live-in role supporting a woman with a C3 spinal injury. She uses a suprapubic catheter, needs support with bowel care, and has a solid routine in place including physiotherapy sessions and hydro pool time. Her home is well-equipped with a lift, hoist, and powered wheelchair—and she knows exactly how she likes things done. You’ll be supporting with: · Personal care in a respectful, calm way · Hoisting, repositioning, and general mobility support · Catheter and bowel care (full training provided) · Helping with meals, light household tasks, and being around if her husband needs a hand · Going along to appointments or community outings · Keeping an eye on blood pressure and oxygen levels when needed She’s after carers who are friendly, consistent, and understand the importance of getting things right without taking over.
