About the role
We are searching for an experienced technical coordinator with a strong background in facility management and customer service. You will be responsible to manage network of partners and service providers. You will actively manage the stretch between customer centricity and efficient management of the buildings in the portfolio.
The technical coordinator is a newly created full-time position, to be based in Birmingham, reporting Manager Facility Management, Heimstaden UK.
Key responsibilities
* Responsible for contractor management and review their performances.
* Responsible for coordination and communication regarding cross department.
* Issue day to day tasks to team on site and booking contractors.
* To further develop and maintain excellent tenant relationships, ensuring that they receive the highest standards of service in relation to their operational needs.
* Actively manage to achieve KPI’s (including customer and employee satisfaction) through efficient processes and focus on results.
* Planning of move in and move out and ensure inventories are completed in a timely manner.
* To ensure regular inspections are carried out for all the property/properties within his/her responsibility and those of the direct reports are conducted monthly and any observations or issues actioned accordingly.
* Participate in and provide input for process optimisation where possible implementing and executing organisational and H&S policy and propagating the core values of the company.
* Support other departments with ad hoc projects or when needed, especially related to customer care
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
* Minimum 1-2 years of facility/technical coordinator/property manager experience where you have actively worked with contractor management.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. IOSH or NEBOSH would be desirable but not mandatory.
* Solid IT knowledge and experience in working with property management solutions.
* Valid driver’s license
* Vocational training within maintenance or equivalent work experience.
