We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent customer service and telesales skills to join our team at our Hebburn site. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will need to be hardworking and motivated, with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external customers. The main responsibilities will include speaking with existing customers to upsell products and promotions, and taking regular orders, ensuring a positive cycle of communication.
The successful candidate will have a background in customer service, either telephone-based or face-to-face. The role emphasizes being personable and managing relationships effectively.
Main Responsibilities
1. Provide a positive and memorable customer experience during all incoming and outgoing calls with a confident, 'can do' attitude.
2. Take regular orders and communicate proactively regarding delays and shortages.
3. Build and maintain good rapport with the sales team.
4. Fulfill customer requirements efficiently.
5. Perform general office duties such as photocopying, maintaining office tidiness, and updating contact lists.
6. Screen incoming calls and take accurate messages.
7. Assist with office administration using Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Greet visitors and ensure site visitor procedures are followed.
9. Upsell products and promotions, and handle regular orders.
10. Process delivery paperwork accurately.
11. Deal with customer complaints and issues related to Food Safety, Quality, Legality, and Integrity promptly.
12. Respond to customer communications via email and telephone.
