Senior Delivery Manager – Imaging Infrastructure
As Senior Delivery Manager, you will lead the coordination, planning and delivery of complex, multi‑million‑pound imaging infrastructure projects – including Ultrasound, X ray, CT, MRI and Cath Lab modernisation. You will support the delivery of capital equipment and infrastructure programmes that sit within a nationally significant portfolio, including programmes linked to the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). Working closely with the Head of Programme: Imaging Infrastructure, estates, clinical teams, procurement, finance, infection prevention, radiation protection and our Managed Equipment Partner (MEP), you will ensure schemes are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of imaging infrastructure schemes, from design and option appraisal to procurement, installation and mobilisation.
* Support strategic planning for high‑profile programmes, helping shape the Trust's diagnostic strategy for the coming decade.
* Develop tender documentation, submissions, procurement strategies, business cases, risk registers, dashboards and project reports.
* Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring robust governance, financial control and compliance.
* Build strong working relationships with Siemens and other external partners, ensuring seamless integration of equipment, technology and service delivery.
* Lead multidisciplinary steering groups and operational readiness planning.
* Champion innovation, service improvement and value for money across all imaging programmes.
Qualifications
* A proven track record of delivering large, complex capital, infrastructure or transformation projects.
* Experience in the NHS or a large operational or public sector environment.
* Strong skills in project management, procurement processes, strategic planning, risk and financial governance.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with confidence working alongside clinical leaders, operational teams, contractors and industry partners.
* The ability to influence, negotiate and resolve issues in complex, high‑pressure environments.
* Steadiness and calmness, providing assurance and project grip in times of challenge.
* A structured, organised and analytical approach to delivery.
* Passion for improving diagnostic and clinical services.
* Experience of effectively building, managing and an high‑functioning team.
* Experience in imaging environments, technical infrastructure or healthcare capital programmes is beneficial but not essential.
