Right now, we're expanding our Newcastle office and recruiting Customer Experience Consultants. This is a fabulous opportunity for customer service enthusiasts looking to advance, to enter the finance sector, and learn about the market through the UK's largest fee-free broker. We will guide and support you to grow and excel, with plenty of progression opportunities.
The Role
As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for new and potential customers of L&C. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, build rapport, and assist customers up to the point of proceeding with our services, and follow-up calls to see if we can help further.
You will receive training and support to reach the level needed to provide excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include answering inquiries, helping set up cases before speaking to advisers, and supporting customers to ensure their experience with L&C reflects our values.
About You
At L&C, we value our customers. We seek individuals who are self-motivated, well-organized, with excellent telephone manners and communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience in customer service is preferred; administration experience is desirable but not essential. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, delivering high-quality customer service. A minimum of 6 GCSEs or equivalent, with at least a C grade in Maths and English, is required.
