School Administrator – Wallsend, Newcastle
We are looking for an organised and proactive School Administrator to join a welcoming Primary School in Wallsend, Newcastle, covering long-term sickness.
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, temp-to-perm
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £101.40 – £110.00 per day
Location: Wallsend, Newcastle
Your role:
* Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the school office and leadership team
* Manage phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries with professionalism and warmth
* Maintain accurate student and staff records in line with school policies and GDPR
* Support attendance monitoring and data entry using the school’s MIS (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)
* Prepare letters, reports, and key school documents
* Coordinate diaries, appointments, and meetings
* Assist with wider school functions such as events, communications, and safeguarding admin
We’d love you if you have:
* Previous experience in a school or administrative environment
* Strong IT skills and confidence with Microsoft Office and school systems
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills
* Attention to detail and a professional, discreet approach
* A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
