About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing IT and Cyber Security provider, is seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to join their high-performing commercial sales function. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in unlocking and developing new client relationships, primarily across the North of England.
This role is well-suited to ambitious sales professionals who thrive on building strong relationships, delivering solutions, and consistently exceeding targets.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Proactively identify and build relationships with prospective clients via calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
* Collaborate with pre-sales to present tailored solutions
* Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to showcase value
* Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
* Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
* Build and manage a strong pipeline to achieve and exceed KPIs
* Attend client sites, events, and industry conferences as required
What Our Client is Looking For
* Proven experience in sales, business development, or client services with strong performance against targets
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised with strong time-management and attention to detail
* Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Track record of delivering against KPIs in a sales-driven environment
* Interest or knowledge in IT, technology, or cyber security

Working Arrangements
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Hybrid role, based out of the Glasgow office with travel as required
