We are currently looking for a technician to join us on an permanent basis who will support the construction department by preparing the accommodation, resources and maintaining safe working environments. Working within the construction department, you will provide support in the delivery of the practical & theory lessons. This includes the maintenance and monitoring of the resources and equipment within the area. Ordering and monitoring of stock efficiency is an essential part of this role along the completion of risk assessments in the practical areas. Along side this you will be required to use a counter balance forklift, for loading and unloading a variety of materials to support the construction team (Training will be provided if you do not hold a forklift licence). We are keen to hear from someone who has worked in a similar role previous, has strong knowledge within Brickwork industry and a good understanding of health and safety within the workplace, including risk assessments.
