£70,000 – £80,000 + Car Allowance + 5% Pension + 25 Days + Bank Holidays
This is a Technical role, not just sat behind a desk drawing schematics. We’re looking for someone who can design, build, and then go out and make it work on site.
You’ll need to come from the generator / power generation world. If you don’t have that, this won’t land.
The Role
End-to-end responsibility for control systems across complex power projects:
* Design full electrical schematics, wiring diagrams & GA layouts (AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN)
* Program and configure ComAp (InteliGen / InteliSys) and Deep Sea (DSE 7000 / 8000) controllers
* Deliver load sharing, synchronisation and export control systems
* Ensure full compliance with G99 / G100 and DNO requirements
* Carry out technical site surveys and define integration points
* Support and guide panel build teams to ensure designs are delivered correctly
* Get involved in commissioning when required
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in power generation / standby power / energy systems (essential)
* Strong hands-on knowledge of ComAp and DSE control platforms
* Experience with PLC logic & comms protocols (Modbus, CANbus, SNMP)
* Ability to design 3-phase systems and LV control circuits
* Solid understanding of G99 / G100 and grid compliance
* Comfortable working both in the office and on-site
Qualifications
* HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
* 18th Edition (desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence
The Opportunity
* Work on high-spec, technically complex power projects
* Be part of a business pushing into advanced energy and grid solutions
* Real ownership - design it, see it built, see it working
