Sales Engineer - Japanese Bilingual Preferred
Position: Sales Engineer
Job Location: Northern MA (preferred) | Remote considered for candidates in Northeast (PA/NY/NJ) or Midwest
Salary: $80K~$110K (Open to negotiate depending on your experience)
A leading Japanese manufacturer of Graphite Materials for semiconductor applications is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its growing U.S. team. This role emphasizes customer support and relationship building, with opportunities to work across diverse industries and product lines. If you are organized, self-motivated, and understand graphite’s critical role in the global supply chain, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Develop new customer relationships in alignment with strategic company direction through solution based sales
* Conduct market research to identify trends and new growth opportunities
* Support global sales teams with common local and international customers
* Support and expand share in existing customer base
* Provide technical support for customers
* Travel as needed with a focus on Mid-West and East Coast territories
* Effectively communicate customer’s needs to the Manufacturing and Engineering groups for both new and revised designs
* Provide weekly updates on customer projects and sales metrics
* Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements
* 4-year college degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related studies
* Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer
* Worked in the semiconductor industry in either process or applications support
* Valid driver’s license
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent presentation skills with the ability to lead effective customer meetings
* Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings and GD&T
* Japanese language skills are desired but not necessary.
