Fixed Term/Secondment
This is an exciting opportunity for Band 6 Midwives to work in NHS Tayside within the Dundee Community Midwifery Team. We are looking for innovative and passionate midwives who are committed to providing excellent care in all birth settings, and who are eager to join a friendly, supportive and motivated team.
The community midwifery team cares for women in the Dundee Midwifery Unit, at home and in antenatal clinics. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote evidence‑based, women‑centered care across the three sites within NHS Tayside: Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Perth Community Midwife unit and Arbroath Community Midwife unit in Angus. Services are delivered in community units, at home, GP surgeries and through a vibrant maternity triage and day assessment unit.
Contract hours are flexible with a commitment to cover a mixture of days shifts, night shifts and on‑call duties. The role is based in the east coast of Scotland, offering a combination of rural and urban environments with strong links to major cities.
