This is a fantastic opportunity for a practice professional with a strong interest in personal tax and accounts, looking to take ownership of their own portfolio within a supportive and growing firm.The Role – Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior:
* Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 self-assessment tax returns
* Handle a varied client base including sole traders, landlords, and tax-only clients
* Prepare and submit personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
* Support with company accounts, corporation tax, and VAT returns (desirable)
About You – Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior:
* Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice role
* Strong knowledge of self-assessment tax and personal tax compliance
* An interest in developing further within tax and accounts
* Experience with sole traders and rental income clients
* Exposure to company accounts, corporation tax, or VAT would be advantageous
* AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / ACA (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
