Job Summary
Here at The Fulfilment People in Newark we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our growing team. For this role you'll ideally have experience working in a busy 3PL business like ours. Experience with MintSoft warehouse management software, would be an added advantage but is not essential as training can be provided. We are looking for the right applicant to use their experience and to become a self-motivated part of the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be prepared to work both independently and as part of a team and possess a positive 'can do' approach. There is an amount of medium/heavy lifting involved in this position.
Responsibilities
* Handle stock management, including goods in, picking, packing, and order dispatch.
* Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently and accurately.
* Participate in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate processing of incoming and outgoing goods.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve daily team targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
* Experience with WMS (warehouse management systems) such as MintSoft is preferred (not essential).
* Experience in picking and packing orders accurately.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
* Demonstrate a proactive and positive 'can do' attitude towards teamwork, problem-solving and day to day tasks. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to perform occasional medium/ heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.

* 39 hours per week Mon-Fri.
* Occasional overtime.
* Mon - Thurs 08:30-17:00. Friday 08:30-16:00.
