Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

£30,600 – £35,500 pa + overtime + bonus (OTE up to £39,500 pa)
Mon – Fri shifts between 8am and 6pm
1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota (8:30am – 12:30pm)
We’re looking for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our trusted team and help us deliver the highest standards of care and service to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs of cars and vans with a solution-driven mindset – ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and first-time fixes.
* Support MOT testing (if certified) and work with integrity to meet DVSA standards.
* Embrace forward-thinking approaches, making use of manufacturer training and new technologies to stay ahead.
* Collaborate with colleagues in an environment built on trust, respect, and inclusiveness.
What You’ll Need:
* Your own tools.
* Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ideally, main dealer workshop experience.
* DVSA MOT Testing certification (preferred, but not essential).
Hours & Salary:
* Weekdays:
o 3 days – 8:30am t 5pm (½ hr lunch)
o 1 day – 8am t 4:30pm (½ hr lunch)
o 1 day – 9:30am t 6pm (½ hr lunch)
* Saturdays: 1-in-4 rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm
£30,600 – £35,500 basic salary depending on experience + overtime + uncapped monthly bonuses (average £4,000–£6,000 pa).
OTE: Up to £39,500 pa.
