Senior Accountant – Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and finalise year-end accounts for a range of clients
* Complete VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner
* Perform bookkeeping duties as required
* Identify areas of improvement in client financial systems and processes
* Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and build relationships
* Support and review the work of junior staff to ensure quality and accuracy
What We’re Looking For in an Senior Accountant:
* AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified (QBE will also be considered)
* A minimum of 3 years of UK practice experience is essential
* Previous experience in an Senior Accountant role
* Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and the ability to manage a busy portfolio of clients
