Do you have experience in aseptic production or in manufacturing, laboratory or pathology and would like to join our small but growing pharmacy technical service?
Key Responsibilities
 * Maintain up to date broth test and hatch transfer validation to be able to work in the aseptic suite.
 * Prepare cytotoxics, monoclonal antibodies and other aseptic products on a day to day basis in accordance with standard operating procedures.
 * Ensure handling and storage procedures are strictly followed for cytotoxic/aseptic medicines and that any spillages are cleared in accordance with departmental procedures.
 * Cleaning of isolators on a sessional basis.
 * Assist in the Quality Control and Quality Assurance of aseptic preparation area according to standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
NVQ 2 in pharmacy services or equivalent or willingness to undertake the qualification. Preferably holding manufacturing or laboratory experience. The successful post holder should be dynamic and flexible and demonstrate excellent attention to detail with fine manual dexterity skills.

Our service provides a wide range of chemotherapy and other aseptically prepared medicines to patients across Buckinghamshire from our two main hospital sites, Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe. We are a developing and improvement led team, committed in supporting you to reach your full potential. We offer a full training programme using a variety of resources and provide opportunities to further develop in technical services and the wider pharmacy. There will also be future opportunities to progress towards the NVQ 3 registered technician qualification.
