Job Title: SEN Learning support assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Start Date: Immediately
Salary scale: £90- £110 per day

A welcoming school in the Chelmsford area are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN learning support assistant to join the hardworking team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on a student's education and well-being by offering personalized support in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both classroom and extracurricular settings.
- Inspire the students to reach their full potential.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
- Support students with a variety of tasks including, reading, writing, and social skills development.
- Work as a team with class teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and report on individual achievements.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to ensure a positive and safe learning experience.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a learning support role.
- A passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them succeed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Relevant experience working with children that have special educational needs.
- GCSE's grade C (pass) or above
